Lunar Car Solar Robot Kit

A challenging solar powered robot with gearbox and battery, to build and wire. Once correctly assembled the Lunar Car will stride along a flat surface. Tricky but worth it!

For age 8 and above.

• Push-out pre-cut balsa wood pieces.
• Learn how a solar module can power a gearbox.
• Learn how to build a gearbox and how automatic transmissions and motors work.
• Make a simple wiring circuit with solar panel, battery, motor and switch.
• Use a slide switch to select battery or sun powered operation.
• Illustrated instructions included.
• Requires screwdriver, long nose pliers, sharp knife, sandpaper and AA battery.
• Contains over 100 parts to put together.
• Not suitable for under 3s due to small parts.
• Adult help needed.
