Fair Trade Glitter Pill Box

These beautifully decorated fair trade pill boxes are full of colour. Each trinket box is decorated with glitter, beads and gems to create pretty designs.

Each of these fair trade pill boxes measures approximately 3cm x 5cm.

The importer of these Fair Trade Glitter Pill Boxes is a member of BAFTS and has been trading fairly for over ten years. They buy fair traded products from India, Indonesia, Nepal and Thailand. Most products are purchased directly from the primary producers. In India they will purchase from larger companies who provide benefits for their workers such as free healthcare and free education. One of their suppliers provide funding for two schools in Rajasthan. One supplier in Nepal supports an orphanage and he gives his workers work clothes and holiday pay.

In Indonesia and Thailand where they only deal with the primary producer the supplier may provide advance payments for them to purchase materials and other necessities. All workers are paid a fair price for each product with is above the national average and men and women are paid the same rate.
